Ride along the St. Lawrence River in the beautiful Portneuf area, known for its outdoor activities and rich heritage. Enjoy mountainous trails that wind their way through frozen lakes and rivers.     The Summits Circuit

    The height of pleasure

    The Summits Circuit, a 397-km (247-mile) course across 5 peaks reaching an altitude of more than 770 metres (2,526 feet) at Monts-Valin, is a veritable playground for snowmobilers, enjoyed for its thick snow cover and beautiful views of the Saguenay Fjord, Lac Saint-Jean and the town of Saguenay. This popular outdoor and resort destination is home to many attractions to discover during your getaway, including Cap au Leste on the Saguenay River, Chute-aux-Galets, the Valinouet ski resort, the nature accommodations at Imago Village, or L’Éternel Spa, a Scandinavian mountain spa.

    Some 301 km (187 miles) of trails run from Baie-Saint-Paul to Baie-Sainte-Catherine, through L’Isle-aux-Coudres, in the middle of the St. Lawrence River. This route, Snowmobilers’ Best Kept Secret, takes you along the river, but also through the rolling and mountainous landscapes of Charlevoix. You will be taken by the charms of this region, known for its unique panoramas between river and mountains, its generous snow cover, rich local cuisine, and welcoming accommodations. A couple of prestigious establishments, the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu and the Casino de Charlevoix, are two more attractions that further boost to the region’s notoriety.
